These materials are usually imported for our local consumption.
CARBON BLACK
This is a black powdered chemical and a by-product of petroleum used by manufacturers in various applications namely tyre and tube manufacturing, rubber auto parts, car mats and foot mats, paints and ink, plastic and rubber footwear, hair dye and shoe dye etc.
Locally in Nigeria, this product is manufactured by WARRI REFINING AND PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY LTD, Ekpan Warri, Delta State.
This product is in high demand locally and internationally.
